Mobil 1 Lube Express offers honest and reliable lube service and maintenance. Here are some frequently asked questions:

  • Do I need an appointment?
    No, just come in whenever is best for you, we’re always ready to serve you. We cater to our customers’ needs on a first come, first serve basis.
  • How long does your service take?
    Our average service is about 15 minutes from check-in to check-out! Your service time may vary depending on how busy we are.
  • Do I need to change my oil every 3000 miles?
    It depends when your manufacturer recommends that you change your oil for your vehicle.Some manufacturers may recommend 3000 miles, 5000 miles, 7500 miles or even when your change oil light comes on.You can find that information in your owners manual or have us look it up for you. No charge for this service.
  • What weight oil should I put in my vehicle?
    Your manufacturer requires that you put in what they recommend, you can find that on the oil cap underneath the hood or in the owners manual in your glove box or we can look it you for you. Some may recommend a Synthetic or a Dexos oil.
  • What is Dexos oil & do I have to put it in my vehicle?
    Its a consistently high-quality oil for high-performance engines in GM branded vehicles. Check with the manufacturer or the dealer or we can look it up for you. Check out their web site.
  • What is the best time to stop in?
    Normally, Tuesday, Wednesday and early mornings are not quite as busy. Free coffee, newspapers and a clean bathroom waiting for you.
  • What is included in a conventional oil change?
    Check out our services page for everything included in the special oil change. Some cars take more than 5 quarts of oil, use synthetic oil only, or use filters that are more expensive.
  • My car is under warranty, do I have to go to the dealer?
    No! You can still come to Mobil1 Lube Express, it is up to you. All of our parts meet or exceed manufacturer specifications and that is all you need to meet your warranty requirements. Still aren’t sure? Check out what the Federal Trade Commission says about it -The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency, says no. In fact, it’s illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because you had routine maintenance or repairs performed by someone else. Routine maintenance often includes oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, belt replacement, new brake pads, and inspections. Recommended maintenance schedules vary by vehicle make, model and year; the best source of information about regular, scheduled maintenance is your owner’s manual.

  • What are your hours?
    8 – 6 Monday to Friday, 9 – 5 on Saturdays and Sundays call locations for hours.
  • My car is special, unique, or strange – will Mobil1 Lube Express still work on it?
    We perform oil service on virtually any car, truck, or van that our customers bring us.
  • Do you offer free top offs?
    Yes we do to our customers that are not over due for their next oil change.
